Watching our videos on mobile devices

You can download most of our content to your portable devices by simply saving the video to your desktop and copying the video across using your usb cable, just like any other video.

Sony PSP
PSP video is encoded using the standard Xvid format at 320 x 240

Apple Ipod
Ipod video is encoded using the standard Ipod mpeg4 format, again at 320 x 240
(just copy the video into your Itunes folder)

Palm / Windows Mobile
Palm devices and widows mobile users can get even better quality video by right clicking on your favourite video and choose "save target as". Save the video to your desktop and transfer it to your device in the normal way

Cell Phones ( mobiles )
We have tested our videos on about 20 different european types of mobiles with no problems. Be warned that older Nokia and NEC phones can be problematic as they use the H.263 codec and we do not support this

Help, I get numerous messages from Media Player telling me it cannot install the required codec, etc, etc
You should not have any problems with our site content other than your media player won't show video, ( you may hear audio only ).
If you are using a legitamate version of windows and have a valid serial number, you should be up to date and have no problems at all.

If you are using a "friends" copy or pirated version of windows you may get problems. You need to download a "codec pack". This will update your computer with the latest video components. You might want to turn off your firewall sofware temporarily while windows updates. Go to your favourite search engine and type this exactly "codec pack". From here follow the link and get a codec pack with everything in (e.g Xvid / flac and so on). We recommend NEMO as this is updated regularly and works well.

Please note there are some excellent websites devoted to helping people that are finding it difficult to watch downloaded videos on their computers. We recomend
www.support.microsoft.com for technical woes.........sorry. Check our technical forum section first.
